  • School Supplies

    Dear P.S. 12 Families,

    As the 2017-2018 school year approaches, we would like to share how we are preparing. Six notebooks and six folders were purchased for each student (reading, writing, math, science, social studies & homework). We have supplied each classroom with many materials including post it notes, highlighters, chart paper, etc. If possible, we encourage families to send each child to school with  individual student supplies. For example, a book bag, pencil box, pencils and glue. Please note that classroom teachers may have specific request.

    Summer in the City Parent Orientation will be held at PS 189 The Bilingual School on Thursday, June 13 at 8:45am. ‬

  • Summer School and NYJTL Information

    Summer School Bus Notice:

    Students attending summer school at PS 189K are encouraged to go directly to 1100 East New York Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11212 on July 6, 2017.

    Summer School will be held from July 5, 2017 to August 10, 2017 for invited second, third, fourth and fifth grade students. The program will be held from 8:00am to 2:30pm. Students who intend to take the bus must arrive at PS 12K (430 Howard Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11233) by 7:30am. The bus will return to PS 12K by 2:40pm.

    NYJTL: NYJTL Summer Camp will take place from July 5, 2017 to August 18th 2017.  A parent orientation will be held on July 5, 2017 at 5:00pm and July 7, 2017 (time TBD). Trips will be scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday.

    In honor of Memorial Day, schools will be closed on May 29, 2017. School will reopen on May 30, 2017 at 8:00am.

  • Saturday School Culminating Event

    On April 29, 2017, Saturday School attendees will be celebrating the successful completion of the PS 12 and PS 191 Saturday School Program. A showcase of student work will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A special luncheon will be held at 12:00pm for student attendees and family members.

    Our PS 12 community would like to invite you to take part in an interactive and engaging learning opportunity during our Spring Fling event. This event will be held on April 27, 2017 from 5:30pm-7:30pm
